The girl who has forgotten how to smile because of her problems,
 The girl who cries her eyes out every night because of him,
 The girl who is terrified to attach
 because of her previous relationship, 
The girl who is different from the others,
 the girl whose heart, blood, and soul 
You may not be Picasso's muse, 
but you are unquestionably God's.
Don\'t waste your life by being stressed out; 
instead, enjoy the ride.
You must be courageous.
Cry your heart out, but don't go too far; 
your tears are too valuable; 
save them for the genuine ones.
First and first, try to love yourself
 before moving on to someone else.
Your history does not determine your future.
You must first preserve yourself.
Darling, flee with them and never look back.
This is for the ladies.

The department was silent. Not the kind of silence that invites peace, but the kind that presses down on your shoulders and makes you long for something familiar—something warm. Only Nivetha and I remained in that still air, the slow hum of the ceiling fan trying to fill the emptiness between us. By noon, I slipped away. New place. New campus. New air to breathe. I walked slowly toward the hostel, letting my eyes linger on the trees that arched above the path.
