In my nightmare, the only time

I noticed independent was when

 I leaped off that roof; I hope

I had the confidence to do it when I was conscious.

NINE

I'm just okay when I\'m lying.

 Something is far too deep

to be expressed by a simple "yeah."

EIGHT

Complexity isn't always a bad thing.

It just signifies that it requires some attention.

SEVEN

There is no such thing as all-light or all-dark in world.

It's a blend of gibberish and significance,

of falsehoods and facts, of ideas

we grasp and don't fathom.

Life is many aspects, but we commit it

to ourselves to experience it through the eyes 

SIX

A wounded soul is far more

devastating than a broken heart.

Because the soul can cure the heart,

but nothing can heal the soul.

It's like using damaged equipment

 to put shattered bits back together.

FIVE

We can't seriously expect people to pay attention

 if we don't speak,

and we can't really expect folks

 to study if we don't express, I've learned.

It's not always their mistake

that they don't assist; it's ours

 that we don't seek for assistance.

FOUR

Solitude is lethal.

Let us not perish

when there is a treatment just a call away.

THREE

Find joy in the small things,

because constrained bliss isn’t pleasured at all.

TWO

We are just the same beneath the surface.

ONE

Despite its incalculable intricacies

Humankind has hope; all we have to do is be seen.

The department was silent. Not the kind of silence that invites peace, but the kind that presses down on your shoulders and makes you long for something familiar—something warm.
