Behind Closed Doors
Life is a jumble of unexpected events, poisonous people, happiness, grief, and a wide range of emotions. If you approach life with optimism, you will find satisfaction in even the most mundane chores. God has given us a wonderful gift in the form of life on this planet, allowing us to learn about ourselves, our environment, and how to deal with our emotions.
Let's begin with a touching story of a little girl growing up in an orthodox home. Anu, a 21-year-old woman, had recently graduated and wished to pursue her goal, which may give her life wings. She was raised in an orthodox home that followed patriarchal customs. Her parents have never stopped her from studying or pursuing her dreams. Anu was a sensitive and naive young woman who struggled to strike a balance between her career and her family's troubles.
Anu aspired to be a
fighter pilot to demonstrate her devotion to her country. She began diligently
studying for her approaching tests. Her parents help her financially, but they
don't help her emotionally. She used to be concerned about her future grades,
but all she has to do now is study to follow her ambition and gain her parents'
trust. Finally, the big day arrived, and she went into the exam with
confidence, but things didn't go as planned. She was sobbing as she walked out
of the exam room, terrified that her parents would never trust her again. A
person cannot determine their future, and this is a hard reality of life.
Her parents began to
distrust her ability, believing that she would never achieve success in life.
After so many unfavorable statements from her relatives, she felt traumatized,
anxious, and wept a lot. She reasoned that she couldn't give up on her dream so
simply and mustered the confidence to say she'd try again. Her parents
questioned her competence and threatened to marry her off if she didn't achieve
in a short period. Almost all avenues appear to be closed for her at that vital
juncture in her life; now it is up to her to determine whether she will summon
the fortitude to thrive in the examinations or will fail due to emotional,
sociological, and mental issues.
She decided to give it
another attempt at studying for defense-related tests. She decided to widen her
definition of patriotism for the country. Whether you are a fighter pilot, a
military soldier, or a navy officer, your patriotism remains unaffected. In
layman's terms, patriotism is made up of all officers and citizens who fight
for their country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. She began practicing
yoga and meditation to relax and boost her everyday productivity. She
re-started her preparations in an orderly and systematic manner. She also
persuaded her parents to put their faith in her so she could make them proud.
This time, instead of focusing
primarily on becoming a fighter pilot, Alice took all defense-related tests.
Her examinations went well, and she was eagerly anticipating the results. Her
exam results were received, and she failed the fighter pilot exam but passed
the navy exam. She was pleased with her accomplishment, which had made her
parents proud. So, while what you imagine about your goal may not always come
true, you will enter another lovely era of your life in some way.
Confidence in the heart
supports courage in fighting any fear in life. From this narrative, one may
understand how God shows you the way, and how when one door shuts in life,
another one opens, offering additional options. Our hearts strive to demotivate
and instill negative notions in us. The human mind is god's most beautiful
creation, and if we want to make use of it, all we have to do is manage our
emotional thoughts and believe in ourselves. Whatever the scenario in our lives
may be, there is always another door for our desires to open. A new door opens
when one closes, but we often look so long and sadly at the locked door that we
fail the one who has tried to open it for us.
